The STUDIO
Located at 4524 Forsyth Road (Suite 305) in Macon, Georgia, our boutique studio offers a relaxed setting where you can explore our sample library and exclusive collections at your own pace. Here, you’ll find custom upholstery, customizable Oushak rugs, custom window treatments, accent furniture, and a curated selection of art, accessories, fabrics, and wallpapers. To schedule an appointment, email us at studio@theselectivedesign.com. If you’re outside of Georgia, we also offer remote design services, so you can transform your space from the comfort of your own home with our expert guidance. MEREDITH McKENZIE
Welcome! Growing up in Georgia, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by gorgeous southern influences and developed a deep appreciation for classic design. I graduated with honors from the University of Georgia earning a degree in Interior Design. Upon graduation, I moved to Atlanta and began my career in the design industry. After many years gaining experience under talented designers and architects, in 2020 I launched The Selective Design offering full service Interior Design in Macon, GA and beyond. Each project brings the special privilege of enhancing my clients’ lives in meaningful and lasting ways. I live in Macon with my husband, Collier, and we stay busy with our three boys, West, Harrison, and Ben.

Operations Lead & Senior Interior DesignerHello! I’m the Operations Lead and Senior Interior Designer here at The Selective Design, where I take great pride in creating interiors that honor tradition while embracing modern functionality—designs that tell a story and feel like home. Behind-the -scenes, I help run the engine that keeps the firm moving, ensuring your design projects stay organized, on track and enjoyable! My husband, Sunny, and I live in North Macon and love being part of this vibrant community. In my spare time, I enjoy organizing, traveling, pilates, and spending time with my family.
KATHY MOORE
design assistant I’m Kathy—Meredith’s mom and longtime design enthusiast! I’ve always loved expressing creativity through home design, and it’s been such a joy to share that passion with my daughter. Working together to create thoughtfully designed spaces has been incredibly meaningful for both of us. I live in Macon, Georgia, and in my free time, you’ll usually find me spending time with friends and family—especially playing with my grandchildren, who keep life fun and full of laughter. I’m so proud to be part of The Selective Design team and to watch it grow year after year—it’s truly rewarding to be part of something so special.

design assistant & social media managerHi, I’m Anna! With a deep love for interior design, I’ve always been inspired by beautiful interiors. I’m passionate about creating spaces that feel cohesive and timeless. I also have a background in marketing and extensive experience managing social media within the interior design industry. Combining my love for design with my marketing skills has been the perfect path for me. I live in Birmingham, Alabama with my husband and our three children. When I’m not working, I’m hanging with my wild little crew, getting my hands dirty in the garden, or whipping up something in the kitchen!
